I made a reservation online, thru choicehotels.com for the Key Largo Quality Hotel, Las Vegas NV ($69.99) then found a lower price on another web site.. Choicehotels.com matched the price and beat it by 10%.

When I got to the hotel, I found the hotel had canceled my reservation without informing me.

They said they tried to run my credit card and it was "denied" so they canceled my reservation without notifying me. I did not recieve a call, letter or email from them.

When I went to check in, they said your reservation was canceled. I then checked choicehotels.com and checked my reservation, and the funny thing is it said" Note: The cancellation deadline has expired, so this reservation cannot be cancelled.".. How funny. I cant cancel it, but they can, and they DID. I was left in LAS VEGAS with no place to stay. I called choice hotels, customer service, and they were not able to fix the situation either. The hotel said "We are full" and would not honor my reservation. I WILL NOW CHOOSE ANY OTHER HOTEL CHAIN OVER CHOICE HOTELS. I'll stick with starwood.
