1. Does one have to be a resident of Canada to enroll in Choice Hotels' Canadian frequent guest program(me)?

2. Is "earn enough points for a free night" in this promo the same probably-legal, semi-deceptive phrasing that it is in the States - that is, hotels where you can earn an award stay for two paid stays exist, but they tend to be unattractive properties and/or in unattractive locations, and the ones you'd really want to stay at require many more points?

3. Is there a Web site or other source of further information, including the "fine print?"
