Except that corporate cards never go over the debit networks. When you choose Credit at the store, the transaction goes over Visa/MC; choosing "Debit" causes the transaction to go over whatever debit network your bank's associated with (Star, CO-OP, etc.) Besides, debit cards don't make banks that much money in interchange fees anymore, regardless of what the customer chooses (credit/debit) at the store.
