It's the same for me on the website or on the apps on iPad or iPhone. I'm confirmed in F (can you call it D1 on an MD90?) on a flight tomorrow morning and would happily accept a VDB to the next flight. The only way I can check whether that looks possible is by making a dummy booking. (I did and it looks unlikely; I don't care enough to SDC)
