What a difference the browser makes
I booked seats using points and went back a day later to upgrade to EMS and as has happened in the past I was unable to on the website as the select seat option was grayed out. I have called Jetblue and been able to get EMS by speaking to a person which was a process I never understood and just chalked it up to a B6 curiosity. I tried Safari, IE and Firefox with the same failure but had success using Chrome. Not only was I able to change seats, the entire layout of the manage my flight section was different so I clicked on profile to find my Known Traveler #, phone # and email address missing. I updated my profile and logged out and back in to confirm the EMS seats and personal data had updated which was as it should be.
Perhaps Jblu has gone to a Google based server or is up with a beta - it might explain the lame delays in posting points earned as well...
