Great report about Chedi Club and Amankila, two properties where I've been very often and especially Amankila I consider as the most amazing place around the world. The views are simply too gorgeous, the three tiled pools are iconic, the property is fantastically well maintained with a staff always ready to surprise you and make of your stay something you will remember for ever and what to say about all the villages around? It seems to be one of the latest part of the island where you can discover real Bali.
Happy you enjoyed Kila even if it's not cheap but it well worth it.
For Chedi Club at Tanah Gajah, if I consider this property pretty good, I can feel a bit like in a park... Moreover, we encountered a bed bugs problem in the Estate Villa... Unacceptable on a way but well handled by the team. I think you made the right choice by choosing a pool villa with doors opening on the rice fields and good layout. I couldn't be that positive on the Spa Pool Villas and the suites. However, it is still a great property with the most attractive benefits included...
