Just returned from a little trip down to South America. I used BA Avios to book award flights round trip LIM-CUZ in coach (no J/F cabin on those flights) and one way LIM-EZE in J. In order to get the benefits of my OW Sapphire status, I used QF to swap my BA FF# for my AA FF#. I just looked at my AA account and it shows that I accrued miles for the LIM-EZE segment, but neither of the segments on my LIM-CUZ round trip. Certainly not complaining about the free mileage, but was just curious if anyone had experienced this as well or knew why mileage was accrued on the ticket?
