I am succeeding about every second time by doing the following:

Log in to "My Mexicana" on the bottom left of the MX homepage. Then click on "My Frecuenta" on your personal page.

The rest of the time I get the same error message as you do. I've never been successful by going via the Frecuenta => check my account link.
