They say that to everyone (about most vintages) to preserve the image that the wine is "exclusive" and therefore able to charge a "scarcity" premium, when the reality is, they have absolutely tons of the stuff - just take the hundreds of cases served daily by EK, which is only one airline customer!
After all, they must keep some back to launch the Plénitude re-releases every so often
