I must be fortunate then, when I've arrive at my Tokyo hotel from a red eye, I am typically offered breakfast upon checking in.

Probably helps that I have visited Tokyo about bi-monthly in the past 5-6 years and that I am in a Hyatt about 4 out of 5 times.

YMMV of course.
