But you know it for yourself, you rode the UA Barbie Jet which has the same seating as the much bigger 777. The seats the tiny to use an euphemism.
It must be my ears then, and I did not bring my decibel meter on neither of the flights, so I do not have any technical proof for my statement…
But seriously, I flew the LH A380 on the upper eco deck 6 weeks ago, and my ears felt the aircrafts to be comparable in terms of noise. I might be wrong.
As far as need for space, my fat percentage is low these days, so I do not need that much space. I'm only 178 cm as well, so the tiny seat is not that big of an issue.

Unfortunately I can't. The only tools I have are using seat reservation at check in, and politely ask for seat block ( *A Gold, bla, bla ) depending on load… Other than that nothing, but I usually pray the night before the flight…
