So coming back on yesterdays 28 from HKG - LHR, I noticed 2 sorts of loo roll, one of the usual scratchy bottom type! and the other a single quilted ply type of roll. Upon further investigation (chat with CSD as reference point, you know who you are when you read this lol, and confirm the BA well done was sent off for great service by the whole team) it appears the loo roll (in F at least) has been newly enhanced (sorry if this appears elsewhere, but couldn't find it). They were just using up the last of the scratchy Izal type stuff - apparently.
Either that or the scratchy stuff has been reserved for the F loo's interlopers!!!
I did mean to get a picture but forgot as was so surprised!

Another First for First was the Captain personally greeting all the passengers in F and welcoming them aboard - an initiative called Beyond the Flight Deck (apparently) and really set the scene / mood for the whole flight which was excellent in every way (apart from the lumps over Russia)
