I normally go with carry on only but this will be the first trip to GRU since the new carry on rules and checking luggage.

Arriving AA DFW-GRU at 7:46 a.m with connection to TAM GRU-MCZ at 9:45 a.m. The next flight arrives MCZ 12 hours later.

TAM says legal connection now is 120 minutes but was 90 when this reservation was made so I can keep it.

I probably could go with carry on if I get a liberal view of the second bag (AA - domestic first and international business).

My question is: Does anyone have recent C&I experience at GRU at this arrival time? If so, do you think the 119 minutes is adequate for checked bags?
