interesting. Is there a written policy we can refer to? Did you speak to a Manager to get the fees waived?

Not at IAD. May be YMMV depending on the rental location and their policy.


From what I know, after 30 days, you are supposed to return to the rental location and open a new contract. I was able to get my contract extended (without paying a visit) twice but both times were only a few days over 30 days and I was told that they would not allow any additional extension. Essentially what they ended up doing was closing my original contract at 30th day and opened a new one for the remainder of the extension.
