On my annual Japan trips in October I've always found the RC to be priced slightly/considerably higher for similar category rooms. It could be coincidental but I'm guessing it has a lot to do with location/time of year.

Considering the cost, there was never enough of a draw to stay there vs other higher end hotels in Tokyo--hopefully someday I will find out what I've been missing all along
