And it's worth making the point here that if you see a Q or O fare (G is less likely) then ring up to ask for a higher fare bucket, it may only be a few pounds more expensive on domestic in particular. Most annoyingly, BA.com does not give the ability to get these buckets in a straightforward way, since it assumes you want a semi flex fare, which is often a lot dearer.
So on LGW to EDI, the cheapest fare is £40 in O, but you can get a Q for £52, and N for £56. The N fare gets you 10 TPs.
