You can assume not. You will lose the Avios uplift for Golds, so even if you don't take advantage of the other benefits - e.g. RFS availability - you may notice that. If that matters you've got the time to get a cost effective 20 TPs from somewhere or other, alternatively see if you get the 20 TPs in the 2 weeks after 8 October.
