Happy ending
Of course no communication whatsoever from IB (well, this we have got used to by now) but I saw that Awardwallet couldn't update my IB+ account anymore. So I try to log in, password error. Click on the "forgot password" link, that take me to the page the email should have taken me (had it ever been sent) where I had to change my password. After that I could log in again. No combine my avios though, but it worked on the avios.com site, so I could move out my Avios from IB+
