Just to help understand the benefits of the Citi Executive card, I went ahead and broke the timing belt on the 1990 Miata yesterday.

First I called the number in the benefits brochure, then was transferred to a benefit line, then transferred to Roadside America. Free towing is provided (up to 10 miles) for Primary Cardholder and Authorized User.

Mid level cards apparently only provide a "referral" for a $60 or $70 tow. Or in the case of Chase, nothing within 50 miles of home.

I'll test the benefit again this week when it goes from my garage to a shop!
