Delta obviously doesn't think so. They are adding IFE/AVOD to all A319's, 737-800's, 757-200's being kept for a while, and all new deliveries. The 757-300's also just had PTV's installed. If they didn't want to install or maintain IFE/AVOD they'd pull a United and have the 737-900's delivered with no PTV's and wouldn't bother updating the current fleet with them.
