There is also a people mover that connects the Coliseum BART stop with the airport now.

But, both BART to SFO and the people mover to OAK are quite expensive. Also, BART only goes along Market St is SF. If you are anywhere else in the city, a cab or ride sharing service make more sense.

Also, if you really wanted to, you can take Caltrain to the Santa Clara station to the #10 bus that will drop you off at both Terminals of SJC. The bus is free.
