Extra security in ZRH might include some extra questioning before check-in and extra questioning/2nd screening at the gate.

In TLV, there are 3-4 ground handling companies that handle most airlines. The one that handles Swiss is called Q.A.S and is partly owned by Swissport. They also handle BA, AC, CO, AU and many charter airlines. Swiss has it's own designated check in area that is used all the time. It is in area C, counters 58-62.

I believe they do have pre-check in the Tel Aviv central train station but this service has been suspended for most airlines so it's worth a 2nd check. Pre-check means you check-in 24 hours prior to you flight. It is not available at TLV airport.

Note that Swiss code-share with El-Al on all flights to/from Switzerland on both carriers. All the flights to/from GVA are on LY metal and the flights to/from ZRH vary (2 daily by Swiss with additional 4-5 times a week by LY). Also note that of the 2 daily Swiss flights from ZRH, one is on an A320 while the other is on a widebody - MD-11, A330 or A340.
