It used to be so I could upgrade from a reasonable V/H fare for my frequent travels SFO/LAX-YYZ, but now that except for once a year I'll have to buy Latitude for what I predict will be at least 50% more than V/H if I want to upgrade, I may just switch to UA. I'm having a very hard time making the case for staying with Aeroplan in 2004.
