I checked my flights. Both AMS-DEL are Delta coded flights on KLM metal. I will call the Platinum line tomorrow and see if an agent can help me. I am really disappointed that Delta just focuses on US/Europe sector and has pretty much abandoned South Asia. The lone NW flight to Mumbai was a Delta flight but managed by KLM. This march Delta cut off the only flight to India. Now it just throws its customers under the AF/KLM bus. I am in a good mind to abandon my medallion status and start flying by some of the middle east airlines that have very good connections to India. Until the monopoly of US carriers within the US is not broken, they will not focus on needs of its customers in countries beyond the first sector. I made the mistake of booking my flight without checking the seats. I should have gone for the more expense AF. AF is much more friendly. It allows one to log in to AF and pick any seat other than comfort economy. KLM sticks to its 3 day prior to flying out policy. I have no idea why Delta has partnership with KLM if this is how KLM treats Delta's medallion members.
