Too bad you still can't apply for cards from them. Hopefully they'll reopen soon.
I actually wonder how dedicated Diner's Club will be to chip and PIN over the long term, especially if nearly every other issuer continues to be chip and signature. Is there a point where they conclude that it will be a lot easier for their customers/less hassle for DC to start issuing signature preferring cards? I'm imagining a situation where they start getting tons of complaints due to having issues at places like restaurants that continue to run cards at terminals that aren't accessible or visible to customers.

Or perhaps BMO decides they don't want to deal with Diner's Club any more and sells it to some other bank. Will the other bank mandate C&S for future cards?
