They are identical. Only difference is cabin configuration and seat #. But seats are exactly the same as on 77H.

I guess we all have different opinions. I absolutely prefer CX's long-haul J to Delta's. For QR, I presume you're comparing to QR on the 787/A380, which I'd say gives CX a real run for its money..QR feels "softer" and a bit more elegant...but the general premise is the same. Plus on QR you lose out on some space because the TV is facing you instead of swinging open.

Yup. Exactly. The 33G/33K Cirrus seats are more narrow than the 77H/77G version.

http://flyerguide.com/Cathay_Pacific_%28CX%29_Fleet, as I think you might be a little confused - both 77H and 77G service long-haul missions. They also serve some short haul routes primarily during the daytime in Asia to increase their utilization rate.
Some routes for 77G, for example: EWR, YYZ, SFO, YVR, LAX (later this year), FCO, AMS, CDG, LHR, etc. etc.
