The hotel explained me, that this has bureaucracy reasons. My other BRG rate which is one week later still does show the lowered rate online.
Even now that the hotel wrote me, that I just pay the BRG rate instead of the official shown one, I am going to ask myself what's going to happen when I use online check in and accept T&C and get displayed the high rate and my credit card informations...
Given the forewarning of the issue, regardless of using OLCI or not, stop by the front desk to confirm they have the proper rate showing and double-check before checking out (allow time).
The property explanation can be true and the system is having issues. Many things get automated and sometimes they need to plug some holes. Nothing says the property can't override what actually happens and honor the agreed upon rate.
