Which London hotel as base for novice visitors?

My partner and I will be going to London in October 2016 as part of a major anniversary trip. We will be in London for six nights.

Also using this trip to use up our Club Carlson points due to major devaluation. However, I want to ask here as it is more LOCATION based question than Club Carlson.

I have a choice of the following hotels:

The May Fair

Stratton Street, Mayfair, London, W1J 8LT |
Luxury 5 star hotel & restaurant in exclusive Mayfair

Radisson Blu Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel

97 Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury, London, WC1B 3LB |
4 star hotel next to Covent Garden and Oxford Street

Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel

20 Mercer St. Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9HD |
A boutique beauty in Covent Garden’s hidden village

Radisson Blu Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel

9-13 Bloomsbury Street, Nr Covent Garden, London, WC1B 3QD |
4 star deluxe close to Covent Garden and Oxford Street

Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel

31-36 Leicester Square, London, WC2H 7LH |
5 star hotel perfect for Covent Garden, Soho & Piccadilly

Radisson Blu Edwardian Berkshire Hotel

350 Oxford Street, London, W1C1BY |
4 star deluxe in the heart of London's main shopping area

Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel

5 Fairmont Avenue, Canary Wharf, London, E14 9PQ |
Deluxe hotel, restaurant & spa on the Thames by Canary Wharf

We would prefer not moving hotels during our stay. We want to do the touristy stuff.... and will go out to Stonehenge and visit sites during our visit.

After our visit, we will be training to Edinburgh.

I honestly have no sense of where things are and geography of the London and surrounding areas.

So, if you were in our position, which hotel would you choose and why?

Thanks
