US carriers lose me on lounge offerings, in-flight food & wine and a cabin service that ranges from "worn out" to "friendly, but unpolished". Of the three, I find the lounge offerings infuriating "Sam Adams? That'll be $7."
Qantas? The new 1-2-1 J on the A330 is fantastic. Service is professional, and lounges range from decent to world class.
BA? Sure, 2-4-2 isn't ideal, but the overall product puts them ahead against US carriers on TATL routes.
SQ, CX, NH are in a different class in J, and while being in a different galaxy when comparing international F products.
