3 Qs from a US flyer on AA policies -- am I wrong?

So I just got back w/ the wife from DCA-ORD-PVG in J, and I had some questions about AA policies that we've encountered during and after the trip.

1) This was a paid J (yes, mistake fare but bear with me) ticket. I originally booked a 4hr layover in ORD on the way back to compensate for any MX/WX/China ATC delays. However, we arrived in ORD about 30 mins early, and there was a DCA flight leaving in 90 minutes that had 2 seats open in F according to KVS.

We didn't have any checked bags, so I went to T3 checkin after clearing customs and asked to be put on the standby list and on the F standby list, and the TA refused to put me in F. Thinking I'd take this up w/ the GA, I said "thank you" and moved on. The GA confirmed that, despite me having a paid F ticket, I wasn't entitled to those last 2 F seats, and that I wasn't even allowed to be put on the upgrade list. But, he said he could give me an exit row seat, which I accepted seeing that not being in F isn't the end of the world for a 90 min flight.

Aren't paid F seats given priority on non-invol standbys? Why wasn't I added to the upgrade list?

2) As a result of flying in Y instead of F, the last segment was only credited with 1x EQP as opposed to the 2x promo EQP and/or the 1.5x EQP from flying in Y-bucket, as my new BP said. Would a claim for these EQPs be successful?

3) How soon after travel do earned stickers post? I had 12 stickers granted from the merger, and I've definitely flown more than 10k miles since this last trip, yet my balance remains at 12. The "miles needed" # was at 7xxx before the trip, and is now at 2xxx. Is this a glitch and should I call in about it?

Thanks for your help!
