I wonder why they try to reject them in anyway. It is quiete obvious that cheaper rates are available anywhere but not on their website and if these can be booked, it means that someone has receive these rates from the hotels and they are somehow prepared to take bookings at these rates. If I would be in charge of accessing these claims, I would give every incentive possible to make it easy to match these rates so they can continue to find out about these lower rates it not wanted in the first place.... I now decided to book hotels instead of loyalty programs and will just go and look for the best deals in the best hotel in the city. Before, I would because of the loyalty program also have booked a Hilton even though it was not the best hotel in town but if they now do not honour the best rates to us, no point at all to continue this. Much better hotels and rates available elsewhere.

They should either start match the genuine cheaper rates as promised or take of the huge (false?) advertisements/ best rate banners from their front page on their website.
