Are you sure there's availability at that rate? Do not assume.

Depending on the cost of the ticket, you can also do pay with miles and use your 50,000 miles to reduce the price of any ticket by about $500, although if you're looking at a one way international ticket, chances are that it would be extremely to purchase so that the pay with miles option isn't helpful.
