I don't know about the reconfigured 763, but the older 763 aircraft does not have personal IFE in Y, just overhead TV monitors. Also they can swap airplanes for the older 763 aircraft and there is a market difference in business class seats. By spring of 2016 when you plan to travel, AA should have nearly completed most of their 763 aircraft refurbishment.
