I wonder if any of the European (eg LH, OS, etc)or Asian (Singapore, Thai, ANA etc) airlines offer discounted business class fares, either from their North American gateway cities, and/or from Ottawa, by codesharing to those same cities, on AC.

I ask because I recently flew, for a conference (covered by the pharmaceutical company) on a discounted business class LH fare from Ottawa, to Copenhagen, via Toronto and Frankfurt. The AC flight, from Toronto to Copenhagen, was (with the less than 2 weeks notice) sold out of discounted business class seats - for a major international medical conference held in Copenhagen - AC would not give discounted business class fares, if even one segment was codeshared on another airline - however, LH would give the discounted business class fare, with three of the six segments codeshared on AC (two on YOW-YYZ, one on FRA-YYZ), and one segment codeshared on SK (Frankfurt-Copenhagen). My travel agent told me that this LH discounted fare would have been offered, if there was seat availability, if all 6 segments were codeshared (ie 4 segments on AC, 2 segments on SK).
