It's allowed but don't expect WS agents to know that, since they cannot comprehend why someone would wanted to buy an extra seat - they keep insisting that a lap infant is free - talk about missing the point.

We are now in no man’s land with WS saying Air Miles has to change the designation of the twins (ie, can't use Master, Miss or Ms even though the booking can't be made without it), and not only does Air Miles have two hour plus wait times, but they are not even open tomorrow.

Absolutely not impressed with either entity, but the lack of knowledge of the WS agents has been, to put it mildly, an eye-opener.
I'm struggling to understand what this means? You can't buy tickets for the kids? Why not? We purchased seats for our kids on westjet when they were technically still the age to fly free and had no problem at all.
