Personally have no idea what their policy is but it's quite easy to see the problems ahead if they do serve pax their own alcohol. At some point, the FA wants to cut off the passenger. Passenger says you can't do that and insists that their bottle be returned to them. FA refuses, passenger screams theft or whatever. And so on and so on...
This could get ugly. Life is too short to fight over a drink or two.
