JAL seems to be one of the cheapest options from Australia/NZ to Europe in C/J. But I cannot get a price for the same in P/F. I have heard that there is some silly rule which forbids 1st fares out of OZ/NZ. If this is so then are there any combined fares i.e. OZ-NRT in C/J and from there on in 1st?

Any suggestions? So far, I am getting $2500 from NZ to Europe in C/J and $2400 from OZ.

BTW, what's JAL's 1st cabin like? Any flat beds?
