I am sick of the food DL serves in coach international flights, both because it has gotten worse (no more tomatoes in the salad), adding in the fact that it has always been just 'ok', and also because of eating it so much it just makes me feel nauseous.
So my new goal is to see how elegant of a meal I can bring on the plane - whether picking it up in the airport, or bringing it through TSA. Maybe some cheese, salami, olives, a nice red wine, etc.. Some dark chocolates that will make a better dessert than their cardboard dessert bars.
Your base in SEA (and my former base) has some good options as does my current home airport, MSP.
