I've been singing the praises of QR (both their LHR T4 lounge and their in-flight experience) in comparison to BA for at least the past 20 months since my first flight with QR.

It proves the point when I'm regularly prepared to take a detour on my regular CAI-LHR route (previously flying BA) to instead fly QR CAI-DOH-LHR. The latter is a vastly superior experience - for less money!

I note you flew on a 777; having flown QR's 380, 340, 330, 319 and 777 LHR-DOH or vice-versa (I've yet to experience the 787, although Master PtF speaks highly of this) the front cabin of the 777 ranks just behind the 380 as my favourite. I try to avoid the 340 and 330 wherever possible.
