Thats very good. The cheapest I could find in December was £1101 using US and AA. We are planning to go in November for a TP run but that's £1300 using BA plus GUF2 but still good compared to £2324 from LHR!
I've just cancelled and rebooked as the flight back was on the older config of the AA 777 - we are now coming back via JFK then on to the BA04 A318 - this is even better for us as we can come back a few days earlier which suits my wife.
On the way out it's the A380 - by July I will have circa. 80k avios (and Gold) - do you think there will be any opportunity to upgrade from CW to first? At the time of booking it was around 400 euros.
