I have to visit Hawaii in Sept and while not a TP run a am looking at ways of maximising what I can earn. On a US ticket I can get DUB/JFK/LAX/HNL and return booking on AA metal. On the way back I have the option of HNL/PHX/PHL/DUB on US metal. Am I right in assuming
DUB/JFK/LAX/HNL/LAX/JFK/DUB( I/I/P/P/I/I) will give 980 TP's with a flat bed seat in the A321 AA business cabin.
DUB/JFK/LAX/HNL/PHX/PHL/DUB( I/I/P/P/P/I) will give 1050 TP's but with reclining seats on the US operated sectors. Are US A330's on the PHL/DUB flat beds now? The cost of both options above is $1697 for many dates in Sept.
Also is there a significant cost in upgrading the JFK/LAX sectors to First which I assume that I do with US on the phone.
