AF wanted £1,750 via Paris but I'm not an AF fan.
But then I looked ex-AMS and I could have got TK J for £970! Now, I've never really fancied TK - I have to confess to finding their ability to crash quite disconcerting and their reputation for onboard service isn't stellar. I then discovered my flight would be on an A330-200 with angled J seats so thought it's a definite "no".

It all comes down to personal preference. Only you can justify it. Depending on the reason of the trip or routing Im sure we all have our cut off points.Personally I have flown TK quite a bit both longhaul and European in J. I like their product and the newish J class 77W is very comfortable with great food. Their crew may not be as polished as other carriers but I have never had any issues. You can get varied crew on all airlines including BA.
AF I would not choose over many other carriers. I think more strikes are coming up and I hate CDG!
