Oneworld Award ticket routing question

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of booking a Oneworld return ticket in J with the following itinerary:

05/12/15 QF922 SYD-CNS
05/12/15 CX146 CNS-HKG
06/12/15 CX233 HKG-MXP
20/12/15 BA555 FCO-LHR
06/01/16 BA423 AMS-LHR
06/01/16 MH3 LHR-KUL
07/01/16 MH141 KUL-SYD

Is this a valid itinerary? I've had to do flights such as Syd-Hkg via Cns due to availability issues on direct flights from Syd.

My main needs are that I:
-Get into MXP on 06/12
-Leave FCO on 20/12
-Leave AMS on 06/12
-Arrive back in Sydney on 08/01

I am in the process of booking this with Asia Miles at the moment, however I keep getting push back on the number of transits I have, and they keep trying to push out the dates of my flights back to Syd so that there are more stop overs and less transits.

My understanding is that stopovers can be used as transits if you use up your 2 transits?

Please help with this question, as well if any one has ideas for alternative routing I'd be interested to hear them. I would prefer to fly CX, BA or QF back to Syd than MH but MH is the only one I could see with availability these days.
