Right, both funny and sad. Ten days ago, just a few days after the fire, it was reported,
"Aeroporti di Roma, in stretto collegamento con Enac, comunica che nella giornata di oggi sul sistema aeroportuale romano risultano operativi circa 1000 voli. In totale il sistema ha ieri accolto oltre 116.000 passeggeri, + 1,9% rispetto alla stessa giornata dello scorso anno."

Travel increased. Now when there's a sudden strike, that's when things can be bad.
