I agree but I'm now wondering if it's enough if the itinerary includes a component that does qualify. So, for example, while the DUB-JFK direct service clearly falls outside the criteria, would DUB-LHR-JFK qualify? I didn't ask that question when I called but I might do later.

I have to say that it seems rather unfair that all direct flights ex US to DUB qualify in both directions but not the other way around.
