Upstair is all business class. Wasn't it lie-flat type? Asiana frequently use F seats for C class and C seats for Y class on short or medium haul flights. Your status must have helped for the upgrade.

But the upgrade doesn't happen when you're expecting especially on the overnight flight, HAN-ICN.
