I noticed quite a few posts about the advantages of booking EI flights through AA.com. Trying to book an ORK-LHR, decided to try AA.com and found a fare over €30 cheaper than Aer Lingus.com (saving is considerably with 4 people travelling). Everything works until it comes to the billing address. Won’t accept an Irish or (my mum’s) Swiss credit card. Also tried ringing them and the really friendly agent couldn’t do anything either.

What I am shocked at is that someone with a European credit card on holidays in the US could not book a flight on AA.com or through the phone.

BTW, I guess I am right in saying there is no AA office in Dublin?

Anyway, I best be off to bed (5am here)
