Not sure if I should have this in Aegean or *A,

I had booked a *A RTW in business class and all the flights are good except for the one, A3591 from TLV to SKG is down graded to economy. when I was booking I had seen this and thought no big deal I will be able to use my A3 gold upgrade coupons to bump it back up to business. Now I call Aegean ticketing and the can see it but tell my they can't use the upgrades because they didn't issue the ticket? So it is on an Aegean flight, it is class B, what are my options to get in the front? I will print the coupons and try at the counter when I arrive but that is a last ditch attempt.
I know its a short flight but it still bothers me after putting out big $$$ and don't really get too many chances to use some of the A3 gold perks. Also I told my wife I would be able to get it fixed.
