I should have mentioned this above regarding the UA bottles, but another criteria of mine for a travel water bottle is that the drinking surface be completely covered when closed. You never know what that seatback pocket has been used for by the previous passenger. And for me, the Camelbak is only partially covered. A straw bottle would that would completely cover the straw end would be a Contigo, for instance.

By the way, since Contigo's open pretty quickly and use a check valve for air entry, they can be good comedy on airlines. Just try leaving one closed until you've reached cruising altitude, then hit the open button. The geyser can reach the overhead bins!
