Fair points. The $4700 was what the price was when I redeemed and i redeemed when it was 125000 rt in J. Hence my comment about how it's gone up now
I considered it rosy because I can easily hit 1.25points per dollar using the spg card and other means such as 1.5 points per dollar on the Amex plat after a spending threshold.
Plus with Altitude and flying a mile is meh to me
not as meh to others though
